An Hollywood, California native, Josie Davis is an actress, producer and writer. Davis began her acting career as a child actress in commercials for television. At the age of a child, Davis was cast on the show Charles In Charge. The show was rated the number one on syndication. Josie received three nominations to the most prestigious Youth In FIlm Award, that she was awarded for her character of Sarah Powell. Davis was an actor of note on numerous TV shows when she was an adult. Davis was awarded Lifetime Movie Network Awards for her work. Davis trained with Paul E Richards intensively for more than twenty years, in spite of the fact that she was able to enroll at USC's famous Writing Program. When she was 24, Davis auditioned for Hollywood heavyweights, Shelley Winters, Mark Rydell and Martin Landau. Davis even though he had done one audition in the renowned Actors Studio with privileges of being employed there, was given a lifetime membership after an interview. There were more than one thousand actors who were invited to audition, which made Davis the only two actors to be accepted at the time.
